My unique journey from corporate litigation to subscription-based legal services stems from a deep understanding of what small business owners, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits truly need—and what traditional law firms consistently fail to provide.
Understanding the Entrepreneurial & Neurodivergent Spirit
My mother and father were both always business minded. My father worked in corporate America with the same company for almost 40 years and my mother was an entrepreneur payrollist/bookkeeper and had many different clients over the years. I learned early that success requires forging your own path with determination and that creativity and methodical problem-solving can go hand in hand. These lessons shaped my approach to serving clients who dare to build something different. As one of the few young girls who was diagnosed with ADHD in the 90s, I intimately understand the neurodivergent experience—the way our minds work differently, see patterns others miss, and require space to thrive authentically. This lived experience allows me to connect deeply with neurodivergent entrepreneurs who often feel misunderstood by traditional corporate america and the lawyers who profess to serve it.
From Theatre to Courtroom: The Power of Empathy in Legal Strategy
My background in theatre wasn't just artistic training—it was a masterclass in empathy, authenticity, and putting myself convincingly in another person's place. These skills translate directly into understanding what keeps small business owners awake at night: unpredictable legal costs, reactive rather than proactive support, and the fear of not having reliable counsel when challenges arise. It also gave rise to my collaborative spirit. Being in the art world I know that the entrepreneur and artist also share a fine line. I as an attorney want to be a part of your story and help the creatives achieve entrepreneurial success with legal guidance that has previously been inaccessible. During law school at Drexel, with its focus on experiential learning, I discovered how legal skills could serve real businesses facing real challenges. At a boutique litigation firm in Florida, I represented Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, and business owners, gaining invaluable insight into how legal strategy impacts business success.
The Turning Point: Rethinking Legal Support for Business Owners
After becoming a mother to two remarkable girls and experiencing my own journey of unmasking as a neurodivergent professional, I returned to traditional law firm practice with new clarity. I watched talented business owners struggle with:
The breaking point came when I realized the very businesses I wanted to serve—small businesses, franchises, women-owned enterprises, queer-led companies, neurodivergent entrepreneurs, and nonprofits—couldn't afford traditional legal services under the billable hour model.
With this approach, I’m able to offer the kind of accessible, proactive, and truly supportive legal partnership every business owner deserves.
The Subscription Solution: Legal Partnership That Makes Sense
When I discovered the subscription approach to legal services, everything clicked. Here was a model that aligned with my values and my clients' needs:
An attorney can provide small businesses legal guidance and representation to your businesses, covering areas like business formation, contracts, dispute resolution, compliance, human resources and collaboration with other industry professionals like accountants, insurance agents and adjusters, bankers or other third parties.
Do any of these sound familiar?
1. When you are signing a contract for your business, you think, probably should have read that…
2. “We just hired them—now what?!” or “I can’t believe they did that. What do I do now?” (That so-called “perfect hire” turned out to be anything but.)
3. You’ve run into bumps at every juncture with this client, and you want to try and work through these logistical issues before they become real legal problems.
4. You find yourself asking, “should I call a lawyer? Who would I even call? And how much is it going to cost me?”
Ultimately, I would like to be your personal on-call attorney for issues before they become problems; helping you protect your interests.
My approach goes beyond traditional legal services to foster a positive attorney-client relationship, proactively protect your business, and help you navigate the transitions that come with growth. Drawing from ten years of litigation experience, a deep understanding of business operations, and lived experience as a neurodivergent entrepreneur and mother, I provide:
• Proactive legal strategy that anticipates challenges before they become crises
• Business formation and growth planning that scales with your vision
• Employment law guidance that protects both your business and your values
• Contract review and negotiation that understands your industry and goals
• Compliance support that doesn't slow down your innovation
My subscription model isn't just about predictable pricing—it's about building the kind of attorney-client relationship that traditional billable hours make impossible. It's about having a legal partner who understands your journey because I've lived through similar challenges, who celebrates your successes because I'm invested in your growth, and who provides proactive support that allows you to focus on what you do best.

This is why I work directly with businesses interested in alternative dispute resolutions. Part of my engagement process also includes an examination of conflicts and waivers if necessary under PA ethics rules, with respect to informed consent. This allows me to act as a mediator for businesses that are having a dispute while being transparent with all clients.
This depends on the nature of your business. Are you just getting started? Are you established and looking to grow? Are you having a business crisis? I will send you an intake package that can either be done ahead of time or worked through together at our meeting.
Other things that can be brought or provided in advance are: your business records including any formation documents, articles of incorporation or operations agreements, contracts you use with clients or third party vendors, lease agreements, insurance policies, marketing and advertising materials, employee handbooks or policies, and if you have any specific legal claims or complaints.
At the first meeting we will discuss your business, what your goals are, the different areas of law I can help your business with, we will review the services and products I can provide, make an outline of projects and a timeframe goal.
First and foremost, I will try to understand your legal concerns, goals, and objectives. We will figure out if this is something that could still be addressed under a subscription model and then execute the projects in accordance with the nature of the crisis. It is important to discuss all related issues and the varying outcomes depending on the actions chosen.
Oftentimes the questions that the attorneys are asking seek details that are important to the practice of law. Sometimes the things that may feel very important to you may have no bearing on what legal actions you can take. An attorney is often working through how to take you from crisis and concern back to the status quo or the position you were in before the crisis. If a matter can be resolved without the court system, it is often in your best interest to attempt those pre-suit options.
This all depends on the circumstance, but one of the main things that all attorneys consider is the timing. Certain claims and rights that you have can expire if someone waits too long to pursue them.
You may have heard of something called a “statute of limitations.” This is essentially the amount of time between the harm that has been caused and when you can file a lawsuit. Each circumstance is different, which is why at initial meetings an attorney may be very focused on the timeline of events. The chronology of when something happened or even when you became aware of it can drastically affect your claims. The difference between when it happened and when you became aware can change when the statute of limitations would occur.
In our contractor hypothetical, if you entered the contract in 2022, the work did not begin until 2023, and you didn’t discover the problems until 2024, an attorney needs to know all of those dates, because your claims relating to entering into the contract may be different than the claims regarding the damage in their failures. It is always my goal to find cost effective solutions, so we will collaborate to find which options, via legal projects and negotiations, we can attempt to resolve the crisis.
It was inspired by a poem that I wrote about my journey relating to masking….
The Art of the Mask
I don’t even know when it started.
Who made the list?
Who determined the goals?
When was i told?
Was I wrong
or doing it wrong?
was i told that this was the task
and to achieve
Change the first layer
check mask
what’s the next thing on the list?
I have to complete,
to achieve,
to move forward
the goal
check mask
Leave the place where it all began
Didnt realize I was wearing them
let alone studying the art of them
one step closer to self
further dive in
still no idea
that there is an underneath to them
back to the list
check mask
but who is here
others with masks
bold enough to take them off
to let me take mine off
but at what cost?
then there was loss
distance
check mask
find a way to reset the list
change the degree
how to use the
mask to benefit me
Still what is next on the list
Could it finally be
time for one I want to put on
Check Mask
beautiful baby girl
still no idea.
Look for the list
what was next?
Must achieve
but then it had nothing to do with me
or my ability
I couldn’t achieve
it was taking a toll
Beautiful baby girl
wasn’t meeting her goals
Suddenly her list appeared.
What do I do?
What should I do?
Change her
teach her the art
or
embrace that
the checks and masks
are not real
I have been changing
who I am
by the art of the mask
when the goals went away
and I truly saw
that the only thing that I needed To do
Was help her live in a world
where A list doesn’t appear
And the checks arn't worth
the Art of the Mask
